Once there, click to show you are a student and enter a username that I will be able to recognize. Try your first name and last name together or your first initial plus your last name. Just make sure I know what it is or I might not be able to recognize who did the test and therefore unable to give you a grade for your work. For practice and to follow up on our reading of Romeo and Juliet, there will be a series of on line tests you will be required to take. To receive a grade, you will have to enter your real name. Don't worry -no one else can see your results but me. The tests are quick and painless so try to get them out of the way as soon as possible. Those that try automatically pass! After reading Act II, argue whether you believe Juliet is being reasonable by following her heart or not. Be specific. This is worth a writing grade so make sure your final draft is quality work. You may either write on Marymount paper or email me your essay. If you decide to go with the latter, make sure you double space and write no more than a page. Also, please include a title, your name, class and date. Thank you.
You will be assessed on your ability to use passive voice properly, verb tense agreement consistently and punctuation. If you need help, set your word processor to English. It will highlight any mistakes you make and offer you suggestions. Failure to do a simple review of your own work is sloppy and careless and your grade will reflect this neglect accordingly. So DO a GOOD job!

As agreed in class, all students will have researched the following questions:
1) Who wrote the play?
2) What is the play about -the theme and plot?
3) Who are the major characters?
4) Where and when is the setting?
